I want this site to be never ending…..

numericals about the second law are also important they will definetly come in SA i exam

Re: Physics assignments by ankcoolurankcoolur, 21 Jul 2010 11:10

Derivation
F is proportional to p2 - p1 / t

F is proportional to mv - mu / t

F is proportional to m [v - u / t]

F is proportional to m * a

F = k * ma (as k = 1)

F = Mass * acceleration

= kg m/s2

= N (newton)

where

F = Force
p2 = Final Momentum
p1 = Initial Momentum
m = Mass
u = Initial Velocity
v = Final Velocity
t = Time taken for u to become v
a = Acceleration
k = constant

can you do one thing??

jo rate ka option hai, woh site members ko nahi sikh raha
but agar dikhe toh woh cheating bhi kar sakate hain.
to klya tu rate option ka ek page bana sakata hai right panel mein???

ok. but i want you to concentrate on the themes and publishing of this site.
i will handle other work

Re: From Ayush by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 12:20

here is it……

The second law of motion says

The applied unbalanced force is proportional to the rate of change of momentum…….

that is

F is proportional to p2 - p1 / t
F is proportional to mv - mu / t
F is proportional to m [v - u / t]
F is proportional to m * a
F = k * ma (as k = 1)
F = Mass * acceleration
= kg m/s2
= N (newton)

Hi… I want you to do the second law of motion and its derivation.

Physics assignments by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 12:11

Now we will find the paper used in making of the airplane…..

Area of paper used = Area of region 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5
= 2.49 + 6.5 + 4.5 + 4.5 + 1.3

= 19.29 cm2

Re: mathematics assignment. by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 12:09

Region 5

Attention needed !!!

a trapezium can be divided into 1 triangle and 1 parallelogram.
Triangle
Area of equilateral triangle = root 3 / 4 * side * side
Area of equilateral triangle = root 3 / 4 * 1 * 1
Area of equilateral triangle = root 3 / 4

now

root 3 / 4 = 1/2 * b * h …(bcoz area of same triangle by any method will be same)
root 3 / 4 = 1/2 * 1 * h
root 3 / 4 * 2 = h
h = root 3 / 2

now we have got our altitude…. now we can find out the area of 5

Area of trapezium = 1/2 * sum of parallel sides * altitude
Area of trapezium = 1/2 * (2 + 1) * root 3 / 2
Area of trapezium = 1/2 * 3 * 1.73/2 (put 1.73 in place of root 3)
Area of trapezium = 1.3cm2 (after solving)

Re: mathematics assignment. by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 12:07

Region 3 n 3
Again easy…….
Area of right angled triangle = 1/2 * base * height
Area of right angled triangle = 1/2 * 6 * 1.5
Area of right angled triangle = 4.5cm2
that means, area of region 4 and 5 will be same. so Area of region 5 will also be 4.5cm2

Re: mathematics assignment. by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 11:49

Region 2.
Very simple…
Area of rectangle = Length * breadth
Area of rectangle = 6.5 * 1
Area of rectangle = 6.5cm2

Re: mathematics assignment. by aaayushaaayush, 20 Jul 2010 11:47

Soln 1.
Region 1.
s = 5 + 5 + 1 / 2 (by herons formula)
s = 11/2
Area = under root of [11/2 * (11/2 - 5)(11/2 - 5)(11/2 - 1)]
Area = under root of [11/2 * 1/2 * 1/2 * 9/2]
Area = 3/4 * root of 11
Area = 2.49cm2
